THE STREET THAT LIVES

Questo efficace e poetico progetto nasce per risolvere il problema della difficile visibilità, in particolare nelle ore notturne, di fratture o buche sull’asfalto. Non essendo possibile evitare che le buche si formino e non potendo intervenire immediatamente a causa di eventi atmosferici o di costi, la soluzione è quella di inserire uno strato intermedio di colore contrastante nell’asfalto che renda visibile la buca appena si forma. In questo modo, notando la buca in anticipo, il motociclista riesce ad evitare il pericolo in maniera sicura.

This simple and poetic project was born to resolve the visibility problems of the street holes and breaks, especially during the night. The solution is to insert a new coloured asphalt layer between the existing ones, in this way the holes will be visible in the same time the asphalt breaks. Thanks this solution the motorcyclists can see the danger from a long distance, and they have enough time to react in a safe way.
